Nixa’s Adam McKnight and Marshfield’s Gracelyn Bull were recognized as the Athletes of the Year, and the Strafford Lady Indians and Logan-Rogersville Wildcats basketball teams were the Teams of the Year in the annual Sports Commission Awards presented by Elliott Lodging.
The ceremony drew a crowd of nearly 600 to the Gillioz Theatre in downtown Springfield on Tuesday night, when the Sports Commission Cup went to the Springfield Catholic High School for being the top athletic department in the 2025-2026 school year.
The SCAs are run by the Springfield Sports Commission with the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame as a partner for the ninth consecutive year.
