Teams sponsored by Kansas City Royals and Advertising Plus won their respective rounds in the Kansas City Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Hillyard, Inc., on Monday at Tiffany Greens Golf Club.
The Royals won the morning round with a 56 and featured Shane Montgomery, Jeff Kinnison, Evan Fowler and Carl King.
A second Royals-sponsored team of Travis Hogan, Ben Kramer, Alec Wickey and Doug Schallenberg took second with a 57. A Jack Henry & Associates-sponsored team of former Green Bay Packers standout Paul Coffman, Kyle Lambdin, Curtis Rayburn and Steve Bishop took third with a 63.
In afternoon competition, the Advertising Plus team of Chip Wagoner, John Gafner, Rich Malone and Berry Patrick fired a 54 to win A Flight.
The B Flight winner was Missouri Equipment Leasing, which featured former Royals closer Jeff Montgomery, Tara Rayle, Marty Hoffey and Brad Wiens and fired a 60. The C Flight winner was a Hillyard, Inc., team of Anna Johnson, Brian Draper, Dr. Huy and Bruce Jankowski as it fired a 67.
