A St. Louis public school teacher was among those killed in a school shooting on Monday. Jean Kuczka was a physical education teacher at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School. She was 61.
Kuczka was inducted as a member of the 1979 Missouri State University National Championship Field Hockey Team, which was honored during the Hall of Fame’s January 2010 Enshrinement.
“Our hearts go out to the Kuczka family, friends and anyone affected by Monday’s senseless tragedy,” said Byron Shive, CEO & Executive Director of the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. “We pray that God provides them comfort in this trying time.”
