The Hall of Fame previously hosted Enshrinements in Columbia in 2015 and 2019. That came after its Governing Board in 2011 approved a plan to host induction ceremonies away from Springfield, as a way for supporters of inductees to attend closer to home and as a way to raise funds for the Hall of Fame. This is the Hall of Fame’s 12th November Enshrinement outside of Springfield, which hosts an Enshrinement every winter.
