Winners announced in St. Louis Celebrity Golf Classic
Teams sponsored by Landau and Brett Combs captured top honors in the St. Louis Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Hillyard, Inc., on Monday at The Legends in Eureka.
The event was a fundraiser for the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, which teed off the first of its four Celebrity Golf Classics this year.

The foursome of Mark Westbrook, Rich Thompson, Larry Brunner and Ted Hantak fired a 59 to win the morning round, while a team of Combs, Bob Glazebrook, Bob Grossman and Shawn Wallingsford carded a 60 to win the afternoon round.

The morning round’s runner-up was a Hillyard, Inc.-sponsored team featuring former St. Louis Cardinals closer and 2016 Missouri Sports Hall of Fame inductee Jason Isringhausen. The group, which fired a 61, included Jack Latchem, Steve Junge and Dan Lehman.
The morning round’s third-place team belonged to USA Mortgage featuring Steve Kitrel, Justin Neel and Mitch Kitrel as the group fired a 65.
In afternoon competition, the B Flight winner was the Missouri Valley Conference team of Willard Harrell, Jack Watkins, Bryan Belt, Bob Lange and John Malkus. It fired a 64. The C Flight-winning team was Independent Printing, which carded a 70. The group featured Michael Overton, George Vincel, Jim Brandenburgh and David Robbins.
The day featured several on-course games. The winners were as follows:
Long Drive Competition: Morning round – Steve Neff (44 & younger on No. 14), Mark Westbrook (Age 45-64 Division on No. 3); Afternoon round – Bob Glazebrook (44 & younger on No. 14), Doug Wilks (Age 45-64 Division on No. 3), Kevin Singleton (65 & older on No. 10)
