Teams sponsored by Killian Construction, Connell Insurance and AMEC (Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives) took home the hardware, winning their respective flights Thursday in the 10th annual Ozarks Water Watch Golf Classic presented by Country Mart.
The event, played at Buffalo Ridge Golf Course south of Branson, was a fundraiser for Ozarks Water Watch, which oversees water quality throughout the Upper White River basin.
Killian won A Flight with a 53 as the team featured Brad Thessing, Ben Volner, Matt Pennington and Roland Pennington. State Park Marina fired a 56 to take runner-up in A Flight, with its team featuring Phil Cox, Pat Cox, Chris Vinton and Eric Presley.
Winning B Flight on a scorecard tiebreaker was Connell Insurance, which carded a 63 behind Chad Connell, Shawn Mayr, Jay Steed and Dean Johnson. The runner-up, with a 63, was Mid-America Safety & Environmental, which featured Russell Hinds, Estel Brackett, Wayne Smith and Rick Brandell.
Winning C Flight, with a 66, was AMEC behind Patrick Oelschlage, Steve Stone, Steve Searinge and Kent Rust. The C Flight runner-up, with a 66, was the BXS Insurance team of Jim Winter, Anthony Collins, Blake Evans and Wes Brown.
