A Hiland Dairy-sponsored team won top honors of the 11th annual Ozarks Water Watch Golf Classic presented by Country Mart, held Thursday at Buffalo Ridge Golf Course in Branson.
The event was a fundraiser for the OWW, which oversees water quality in the Upper White River Basin which includes 15 counties in southwest Missouri.
Hiland Dairy fired a 53 to win A Flight and won a scorecard tiebreaker thanks to Rob Ballowe, Rick Beaman, Nate Angus and Adam Naegler.
Killian Construction took second in A Flight as Matt Pennington, Brad Thessing, Trenton Bergman and Layton Jones fired a 53.
Taking B Flight, with a 62 decided on a scorecard tiebreaker, was Mid-America Safety & Environmental, which featured Russell Hinds, Tim Rinker, Ron Hogue and Don Greene.
Second place in B Flight belonged to RMMC Certified Public Accountants as Joe Greene, Doug Crane, Travis Beazley and John Beazley fired a 62.
Earning C Flight’s top honor, with a 65 on a scorecard tiebreaker, was the Backwoods Golf team of Brian George, Austin Cloud, Michael Webber and Darin Garoutte.
C Flight’s runner-up was the Dan Piddington team that also included David Gibbs, Brad Beach and Debbie Grega.
