Tickets for the Sports Commission Awards presented by Elliott Lodging are sold out, it was announced Monday morning.
The event is tonight at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center, 2546 N. Glenstone Ave. in Springfield. Doors will now open at 5:30 p.m., with the buffet lines to be ready immediately. If you would still like to attend, you could arrive and be on stand-by until just before the program begins.

DIRECTIONS: Because of construction on north Glenstone Avenue, south-bound motorists cannot turn left into the Oasis Hotel. Instead, if you are traveling on I-44 eastbound, exit off Kansas Expressway, take a right (south) to Kearney, then east (left) to Glenstone and back north. If you are coming up from southeast of Springfield, take US 65 to the Kearney exit, then travel west to Glenstone and then back north to the Oasis.
FINALISTS TO THE STAGE: Finalists in each category should make their way to the front of the stage before the video plays. A photo will be taken, then the winner announced after the video.
