
Teams sponsored by Chaney & McCurry Attorneys at Law, Andy Stewart, Missouri Equipment Leasing and Sue Carrol Terry were the big winners in the MU Alumni Golf Classic presented by Great Southern Bank on Friday at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club.
The event was part of a two-day scholarship fundraiser by the Greater Ozarks Chapter of the University of Missouri Alumni Association, which also held the Tiger Ball presented by Meyer Farms and Meyer Communications on Thursday night at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center.
The morning round saw co-champions in A Flight: The team of Stewart, Dan Stewart, Dean Snelson, Jeff Kennedy and Ashton Glaser while the Missouri Equipment team of Tara Rayle, Kirk Stringer, Brock Derreck and Andy Ebbrecht each carded 56s.
However, the best team score belong to Chaney and McCurry, which consisted of Jeff McCurry, Bruce McCurry, David Coutchie and Stuart Coutchie and fired a 55.
Sue Carrol Terry’s team included Barb Mitchell, Judi Phillips and Gloria Crumpley as the group fired a 70 to win the Ladies division.
