Winners announced in St. Louis Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Hillyard, Inc.

EUREKA – A team featuring former basketball standout Bud Stallworth took home top honors in the St. Louis Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Hillyard, Inc., on Thursday at The Legends.

Stallworth’s group featured Harley Owens, Logan Mayfield and Tim Clubb and fired a 60 in the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame’s first celebrity golf tournament of the year.

Winning B flight was the group of Mike Tyson, Steve White, Russ Jesperson and Ernie Supiran. The team fired a 66.

Winning C flight was the group featuring former St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Charlie James along with Larry Cole, Justin Shadel and Casey Shadel. The team fired a 69, winning on a scorecard tiebreaker.

A total of 30 teams participated in the tournament, with Jennifer Freeling winning closest to the pin on No. 23, Tom Lawless winning the long drive (for 45 to 65 age group) on No. 17, Bud Stallworth winning long drive on No. 26 for ages 65 and older, and Tim Club winning the long drive for 44-and-younder, on No. 18.
