Founder of the high school’s rifle team, Father Hagan coached from 1953 until 1987. In those 34 years, his teams went on to 33 Top Ten finishes in the nation, garnering five National Championship along the way. In addition to the championships came three second place finishes and three third place finishes. Father Hagan passed away in April 2008 at the age of 89.
