Dave Duncan, who retired after the 2011 campaign, began his career with the Kansas City Athletics in 1963. He made his major league debut on May 6, 1964 at the age of 18, becoming the youngest player in the American League at the time. Duncan’s biggest contribution to baseball came as a pitching coach, the last 16 years of which were with the St. Louis Cardinals. Coach Duncan is the owner of four World Series rings and was the coach of four Cy Young Award winners.
