St. Louis native Bob Chandler is the creator of “BIGFOOT – The Original Monster Truck,” and is widely known as the father of the monster truck racing industry. Chandler’s vision paved the way for hundreds of other monster truck drivers who compete in front of millions of spectators each year. Team Bigfoot has grown to a fleet of over 16 monster machines today and owns 18 monster truck racing championships. In 1987, Chandler founded the Monster Truck Racing Association (MTRA), an organization created for the sole purpose of promoting safety in the monster truck industry.
