Inductees

Eaton spent his young years playing and excelling at sports. Vic attended Lafayette High School, where he was a four year letterman in football. Eaton was the quarterback of the team and was selected to  the All-City Team in 1949 and 1950. He was also a four year letterman in basketball and was a key member of their track team. Upon graduation in 1951, Vic signed to play football for the University of Missouri Tigers, where he played quarterback and was the punter. A three-year letterman, he led the Big Seven in passing in 1954 and was named the Outstanding Back in the Blue/Gray Game for the victorious North team. He was selected in the 11th round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1955 draft and was the team’s punter.
