Regarded by many as baseball’s premier television analyst, Tim McCarver serves as MLB on FOX lead game analyst, teaming with play-by-play announcer Joe Buck. Familiar to all fans that watch baseball’s jewel events, McCarver won three straight Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Sports Event Analyst” and in total has received 12 Emmy nominations during his 15 seasons as a network analyst.

In 1959, McCarver signed with the St. Louis Cardinals out of Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, TN. In addition to 12 seasons with the Redbirds, he spent eight and a half years with the Philadelphia Phillies, half a season with the Montreal Expos and two seasons with the Boston Red Sox. One of a handful of four decade players in major league history (1959-1980), McCarver played in two All-Star Games, three League Championship Series, was a member of two world championship teams in St. Louis and was the hottest hitter in the 1964 World Series when he led all regulars with a .478 batting average.
