A White River Valley Electric Cooperative Foundation-sponsored team won the Mercy Pro-Am morning round on Monday at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club in Ozark.
The event was part of the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, a PGA Web.com Tour event that has raised almost $13 million for Ozarks-area children’s charities. It also was a make-up of an Aug. 8 rainout.
The White River Valley team shot a 56 and featured Don Phillips, John Cyrus, Steve Wendler and Mark Lee.
Commerce Bank took second with a 59. Its team featured Byron Pierce, Cody Smith, Matt Aug and Kevin Fick.
Taking third place was USA Mortgage, which fired a 60. It featured Matt Soutee, Steve Kitrel, Andy Ross and Andrew Weaver.
