The Missouri Sports Hall of Fame is proud to announce that Ned Reynolds will be named the 28th Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Legend, joining the likes of Ozzie Smith, George Brett and Len Dawson as those who’s bronze statutes are displayed outside the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame museum.

Reynolds will be officially named a legend and have his bronze bust unveiled during the annual Hall of Fame Enshrinement ceremonies on January 25th, 2015.

Edwin T. (Ned) Reynolds was born in Haddonfield, NJ in 1941 and joined the staff of KY3 in Springfield, as sports director, in 1967, remaining at his post until December 1st, 2014. His 47 year run at the station is the longest consecutive tenure at the same station in Missouri broadcasting history. Along the way, Reynolds has become the most recognizable face of sports television in the Ozarks and (arguably) in the state of Missouri.

In 2001, he began hosting the sports radio talk show, The Sports Reporters, a job he continues to this day. He is also the television voice of the Springfield Cardinals baseball team. He is a member of the Springfield Area Sports Hall of Fame as well as the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame and has also been inducted into the Silver Circle of the National Academy of Television Arts and Science (NATAS) Mid- America in 2014.

Reynolds and the Hall of Fame class of 2015 will be honored at the annual Enshrinement ceremony on Sunday, January 25th, 2015 at University Plaza & Convention Center in Springfield, with the ceremony beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Single tickets are available for $150 and tables are available for $1,500. Other sponsorship opportunities are available. For more information, please contact the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame at 417-889-3100 or by visiting www.mosportshalloffame.com.
