Missouri Sports Legend

Rusty WallaceFenton, Missouri’s Rusty Wallace, who won 55 races in a stellar career that included the 1989 Winston Cup Championship, was inducted into NASCAR’s Hall of Fame in ceremonies held on February 8, 2013.  The ceremonies were held in the Crown Ballroom at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Wallace, who currently stands at ninth in all-time victories, joined Buck Baker, Cotton Owens, Herb Thomas and Leonard Wood as members of the Class of 2013.

Rusty was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in 1998 and was named the Hall’s 14th Missouri Sports Legend in January of 2006.
