Longtime sports writer Kary Booher, who covered the Double-A Springfield Cardinals for most of the past 10 years for the News-Leader, has joined the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame staff. His first day was March 2.
Booher, 40, will handle media relations, including writing biographies, news releases and promoting the Hall of Fame through social media. His career covers 22 years in sports writing, including a recent role as the Sunday Sports Editor of the News-Leader.
Kary and his wife, Marsha, and their family make their home in the Springfield area.
