Born and raised in Camden, New Jersey, Art Still was a star on the gridiron at Camden High School before signing to play at the University of Kentucky. He was the Southwestern Conference Player of the Year as a senior at Kentucky, where he was a four year starter. He was the second overall player taken in the 1978 NFL draft. He was an unstoppable force against the run and one of the NFL’s most feared pass rushers. Still was a four time Pro-Bowl selection, following he 1980-’82 and 1984 seasons. He was named the Chiefs most valuable player twice and is still third on the club’s all-time sack list with 72.5. During his career with the Chiefs, Still recorded 992 tackles, 72.5 sacks and 11 fumble recoveries.
