INDIANAPOLIS — What a great way to end a basketball season.

The Missouri Basketball Coaches Association and the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame concluded the college basketball season with a Final Four Reception sponsored by the O’Reilly brothers, as coaches, athletic directors and fans from the state caught up over the weekend.Murr

Missouri Sports Hall of Fame President and Executive Director Jerald Andrews spoke to a group of about 100 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

Among the notables were University of Missouri athletic director Mike Alden, who recently was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame; as well as Mizzou men’s basketball coach Kim Anderson, Bob Burchard, Dennis Crews, Bob Murrey and Dave Porter.

Burchard recently completed his 27th season as men’s basketball coach at Columbia College, where he also is athletic director.
