The Missouri Sports Hall of Fame will open at 2 p.m. Monday, March 23, following the Women in Sports Luncheon presented by the Bee Payne-Stewart Foundation at the Ramada Oasis Convention Center.
The luncheon is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the north Glenstone Avenue hotel, where the Hall will honor former Missouri State University women’s basketball coach Cheryl Burnett as a Missouri Sports Legend.
Additionally, the Hall will induct the Lady Bears’ 1992 and 2001 Final Four teams as well as LPGA golfer Cathy Reynolds of Springfield and Patti Phillips, the CEO of the Kansas City-Based National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators.
